Respect: Respect is used for purchasing subscriptions from informants, receiving wholesale orders on the Trap Phone, and determining your standing among other dealers. You earn Respect through successful price negotiations in both wholesale and retail sales, and you lose it through unsuccessful negotiations, missing a scheduled wholesale meeting, leaving the meeting area with the client, trying to sell a drug when you don’t have enough, or starting an attack on the client. Trap Phone: The Trap Phone is used to schedule wholesale meetings, receive messages from informants when police appear in their area, check our statistics, and view active subscriptions with informants. Moles (Informants): Moles, or informants, alert players who have an active subscription to the presence of police in their vicinity by marking the controlled area on the map with blips and sending SMS messages to the Trap Phone; purchasing a subscription from an informant reveals the specific neighborhood they control. Retail Sales: Retail sales involve everyday transactions with NPCs encountered on the streets. A player begins by selecting the drug they wish to sell and setting a price. The negotiation process considers factors such as the average drug price, the price offered by the player, and the player’s sales skill points. For example, if a player has 155 sales skill points, their chance of a successful sale increases from 30 percent without any skill to 45.5 percent when using their skill. However, if the negotiation fails or the customer is not interested, there is a risk that the customer may alert the police. Wholesale Sales: Wholesale sales are conducted with NPCs arranged through the Trap Phone, where the price negotiation logic is nearly identical to that of retail sales; once an agreement is reached, the player must appear at a designated meeting location, and various scenarios can occur, such as a normal sale, a situation in which the player does not have the agreed-upon quantity of drugs, the player choosing to leave the meeting area, or the player drawing a weapon which, if interpreted as an attack by the customers, may lead to outcomes where, if the player kills the customers, they have the opportunity to rob them of cash, but if the customers kill the player, they will instead rob the player of cash.
